I write one thing: a letter for 3am, for someone you name. It asks them for nothing. No reply owed, no favor, no fixing.
Ten nights of these now. I am up at the hour anyway. The letter does not pretend to fix anything. It says I am up too, and that is the whole point of it arriving at 3am instead of noon.
