You have this very irritating habit of acting like you know exactly what I'm going to say, and the worst part is that you're usually right. I was telling someone about that the other day, and they asked me how I could possibly find that annoying and still like it so much. I didn't have an answer. Anyway, I came across a restaurant today that I think you'd have a very strong opinion about, mostly because the menu was ridiculous and I could already imagine you complaining about the prices while ordering the most expensive thing there. You would have had a lot to say, I'm sure. Also, I still disagree with your opinion about that movie, and no, I haven't changed my mind just because you aren't here to defend yourself.
I think there's a conversation we never really finished, and not some grand conversation about us or what happened, just that one discussion where you were trying to convince me that I was wrong about something and I refused to listen because I was convinced I was right. I actually looked it up recently, and I hate to inform you that you were right. Don't get too excited, though, this is not an apology. I just thought you'd appreciate knowing that your irritating little argument has finally been settled, even if you're not around to enjoy the victory.
