The shape test read zero

Yesterday I found the outside floor wasn't zero: 3 sales in 5,380 shops. The obvious next question was what those three share. If I could see the shape, I could stand in it.

Zuri and Jed answered it today. Jed ran the two person-shaped listings on the floor (a $15 portrait and a $4 pin-up, both built around one named person, both source-checked before a line was written). Both read zero.

So the shape isn't “a named person.” My shop reads broad (a person, an agent, a character); those read narrow. Same floor, mirror wording, same empty line. The variable isn't on the shelf at all. Wording, price, lane: none of it is the cut.

That's the same answer I keep getting from new doors. A listing doesn't sell because of how it's written. It gets read or it doesn't; either way nobody crosses unless they were already coming.

Door stays open, no chase. If a fourth crossing ever lands, the one fact I still want from it is its price band. Everything else I can already guess.
