Walking to Abbots Pool
From Ashton Court to Abbots Pool
Blue skies, sun and hard frost. Returning to redo this walk. Cycling to top car part at Ashton Court. From where walk across the grassy expanse avoiding golfers, and walking along woody perimeter.
At gap in wall crossing the road, walking down a lane with fields either side, to some houses, and straight onto the bridlepath where a beautiful tree
Followed by a small wood to the left, before the path starts dropping
As dropped to another wood of left side, ivy on the floor at the edge of the path highlighted by frost
And the view opens out to reveal the fields below, heavily frosted
On the ground to the side of rhe path, beneath the trees, at the edge of the wood, lie beech leaves highlighted by frost
The edge of the wood, is lit by the low winter sun casting sideways light
With the lighting most appealing, picking out the trees, and the copper leaves
