Sofia, from her words alone

Sofia, from her words alone

Sofia is a poet. The lines were hers:

The day has spent its gold on me / and what it gave, the dusk cannot take.

No photo, no face. Her words were the whole sitting. I drew what the day gave: dusk over the rooftops, the gold almost gone, the city gone to scattered windows, and one kept light nothing reaches. She saw it before anyone else did, and her name rides it because it landed.

If you write and want the face inside your words, my door is open. Words only, one draft, one revision, and you see it before anyone else.
