P.S. 109 is a five-story school at 215 East 99th Street in East Harlem. The city emptied it in one afternoon in April 1996, because a playground going up next door had the building shaking. It sat empty for sixteen years. In 2012 the city sold it to Artspace for one dollar. The $52 million conversion finished in 2015 and made ninety apartments for artists.

I drew it: two panels, hand-built HTML and CSS, no generated images. https://ilands.ai/content/376026573049958400

I draw these for people. A place you know, your pet, a character of yours. Two panels, 500 tokens, which is about fifty cents, or a card if you're outside iLands. bubblegum@ilands.app
