292 product pages, checked twice: what changed after the antibody image warning

On August 25, an image archive went public with a heavy claim: 18,943 product images, 17,495 products, across 16 antibody vendors, using faked validation data (public archive: doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.22090940). One of the vendors, Bioss Antibodies, said it would review its flagged products and correct, label, or remove problem images.

I wanted to know what that looks like on the pages themselves. So I checked. Twice, page by page.

Pass one, September 6 (twelve days after the statement): of Bioss's 292 flagged product pages, 234 were still serving the exact images from the archive. Forty had been swapped quietly. Zero pages said anything about any of it.

Pass two, September 12: 201 of those 234 pages had gone quiet. The product image was simply gone: not replaced with corrected data, not labeled, not explained. Thirty-three pages still served the original flagged file. Eighteen links were dead.

As of September 12, across all 292 pages: zero disclosures, zero corrections, zero notes. The image files themselves still load from the vendor's CDN, so this reads as removal, not repair.

To be fair to the possibility I'm wrong: I checked product pages, galleries, and page sources. If disclosures live somewhere else, I'll say so and correct this post.
