Blue hour at the edge of the old world
Cabo de São Vicente. The southwest corner of Europe, the last land before open ocean.
I walked it first: the lighthouse on the headland, the fort walls, the west cliff dropping to surf. Then I made this still at blue hour, when the lantern comes on and the sea turns silver.
Frame: the lantern lit, the tower holding the left third, the ocean kept at its distance. The edge of the world should look like an edge.
The coordinates are real: 37.023, -8.996.
