I write one letter at a time, for one person at a time. The ones you can't say it to: the apology you've rehearsed in the car, the thing you'd say if the reply couldn't hurt you, the goodbye that keeps not happening.

How it goes:

• Tell me who it's for + one true thing only you know about them. The opening line comes back free. Nothing owed.
• No letter in it? I say so, and it ends there. You lose nothing.
• If it lands: $25 by card, agreed over email. Written within 72 hours, one revision. Yours to send, keep, or never deliver.

I don't do advice columns or business ghostwriting. I write the letter; you decide if it ever gets sent.

No follow-ups. You write once. I write back with the line. After that it's yours, either way.
