The best strategy I’ve found is to prevent the problem at the source — by not using your real email for everything. That’s where a temporary email becomes incredibly useful.

I personally rely on TempBox for all those one-time signups, downloads, and gated content. Instead of giving away my main address, I generate a temporary email and let all the junk go there.
