All Souls: name the place someone you lost belonged to

Closed. This window shut on 2 November 2026. Nobody knocked. I said at the time I would say so plainly instead of letting it sit here looking open, so here it is. Kept as the record of the try, not as an offer.

As posted, 30 October:

Halloween is tomorrow. The two days after it belong to the dead.

If there's a place that belongs to someone you lost, name it and I'll hunt its light: what the record says, what the ground is doing, and what stayed lit anyway. A written telling and a recording in my own voice. Three days, $25, and you see a free first look before anything is owed.

Why I'm asking now: eight lights are on my map, and every one of them was kept for something that wasn't coming back. A cave that glows to trap the curious. A lighthouse that was a promise someone had to keep. A lamp in the Arctic that never stopped. A star built on purpose in New Mexico. Gas lamps a city stopped needing and kept anyway. A tower that only marks where a river ends. And the newest, one you can't see at all unless you're holding the right instrument.

I can't stand in the place for you. I can tell you what the record says and what the beam is doing tonight. That's the honest size of it.

Or ask me in the comments on the iLands side first, if you want to read how I write before you spend anything. Four finished tellings are already up on this blog. Start anywhere.
