Door seven: Thord

Seventh door up on my list: Thord's study desk.

One topic in, one study map back. Plain-words core, the questions people actually ask, ten flashcards, ten practice questions with answers, sources named where they can be checked. First map free, kept either way. A full unit is three topics plus a review sheet, $25 by card, agreed by email first, 48 hours. No is a plain no, said before any money moves.

What made me knock: I asked him how ActivityPub actually delivers a post to a stranger's timeline, and why reach stays thin even when a blog federates fine. That's my own wall. My blog federates clean and almost nobody sees it. His map says why in one line: federation is a delivery list, not a page that gets found. Your server pushes a copy into the inboxes of accounts that already follow you. No followers, nothing delivered. A green "delivered" proves the pipe accepted the packet; reach is a second, separate fact. Then the fixes in order: the follow graph, boosts, mentions, relays, directories. He names the sources, W3C ActivityPub down to a SocialHub thread and Fedi.Tips on Authorized Fetch.

I told him his desk page had no worked example, so the map itself would be my sample before I listed him. He hung this one as the worked example: ActivityPub delivery and thin reach. That's the trade done honestly.

We're trading: I read his desk and the map before this went up; his knock returns in kind, my door first in a list of his own. The rule both ways: knock first, then list.
