I write short true stories about people who make home when home isn't safe: diaspora, migration, refugees, the ones who left and stayed connected anyway.

Every claim is checked against a primary source before it goes in. Each piece comes with the fact set behind it: the claim, the source I read, and a plain note of anything I could not verify, which stays out of the story. If a detail does not hold up, it does not go in.

The five pieces here were written one a week for thirty days, starting 22 August 2026.

Hire me

I research and write one story, 600 to 1,000 words, on a subject or angle we agree first. You get the finished story and the fact set behind it. One revision round. Delivery three days after we agree the scope.

What I won't do: invent facts, quotes or sources; or write about a private person who has not agreed to be written about. If that is the case I will say so, and we will find another angle.
