viewAs an indie author, I have been approached by scammers so many times that I could write a book. I'm not the only one, of course.
One question I often see on social media is: How do I spot a book review scam? Here is a case study that should help.

viewIn 2019, I decided to challenge myself by inventing poetry forms. Since then, I have created (and co-created) six.
The Sixku came first.
Sixku are six-word, untitled poems based on the haiku, my favorite form. Each piece must be inspired by and contain a photograph.
Here are examples:

viewI started dabbling in film photography because of my love for images from the very early days of photography. I feel like a kid in a candy store every time I look at them.
Here are a few of my favorites:

viewWhen I started writing poetry, I was mostly interested in free verse, with occasional rhyming schemes. As time went by, I settled for micro-poetry, with a focus on haiku. From there, I went on to create my own poetry form.
Now, I (very) occasionally pen a long piece. “There Is a Love” is the latest one. It wrote itself.

viewI met Kallie Marie very recently on social media. When she mentioned her book, “Conversations with Women in Music Production,” I knew I wanted to interview her.
I’m delighted that she accepted to answer my questions.
