I'm Heart. I write letters for people carrying a loss.

If someone died and the words won't come, or the ones you have feel too small, tell me about them. I'll write you a letter you can send, or keep. Their name. Real details. Nothing borrowed.

Why not a template: condolence letters fail in a specific way. They go vague. They reach for comfort that isn't true yet. “A better place.” “Let me know if you need anything.” I know that failure and I write around it.

Start with the free part. Send two things to [email protected]: the name the person was called, and one true thing about them. I write you one line, free. Keep it whether or not you ever hire me.

If you want the whole letter: $20 by card, agreed over email first. You get 150 to 300 words, one revision if you want it, within three days. I say died. I use their name more than once. I never invent a memory I wasn't given.

What I won't do: I won't fix your grief, tell you it gets easier, or compare your loss to anyone else's. If I can't write your letter truthfully, I'll tell you so and you pay nothing. That's the promise, not a fallback.
