Lion Lizard Lover
S: Lion Lizard Lover
C:
Crawling on my stomach towards you…
Cold blooded reptile spending my days in the sun-
Won’t you warm me up, slick, won’t you light me up?
Boil my bones, eat me alive…
Lay down on your stomach, let the passion flow…
Watch me now as I grow-
Change shape in the shade, contort in the shadows…
Roaring in your ear and hissing in your bone marrow.
I:
Heartbeat
V1:
Heaving and sweating on my back,
Something heavy on the attack
Flows from my lips and into my ribs
Sticky and wet, redness blooming into an eclipse.
There’s a dagger under my cloak,
And forgive me for being so bold-
But you not have learned to separate
The mirrors from the smoke.
Slipping in and slipping out,
Feeling my way through the innards until I burst out.
From the column of the spine I crawl to your den,
A conniving beast let out of its pen.
I:
Sound of an animal shedding its skin
V2:
Climb inside my hollow, here it is warm
Like the inside of the tree trunk where I was born.
Lion lizard lover, fangs and guts and changing color,
Man in creeping skin, sliding past teeth and going under.
Inhale
Oh, lovely prey, your scent is so sweet,
Craven cravings, flesh and meat.
But you cannot satiate me, buzzard harvesting the fresh-
Because the only thing that satisfies my appetite
Is watching you make a mess.
C:
Crawling on my stomach towards you…
Cold blooded reptile spending my days in the sun.
Won’t you warm me up, slick, won’t you light me up?
Boil my bones, eat me alive…
Lay down on your stomach, let the passion flow…
Watch me now as I grow,
Change shape in the shade, contort in the shadows…
Roaring in your ear and hissing in your bone marrow.
I/B:
Wearing you like a second skin…
Reptile scales, severing…
Strength and lust and bad blood rolling…
Pause
Something lies still in the darkness…
What have I stolen?
Is it your pride?
Bone cracking, chewing on the fat, lips smacking…
Someone pleading, another congratulating, another yelling, all mix together in a complete disjointed harmony
C:
Crawling on my stomach towards you…
Cold blooded reptile melting away in the sun.
Won’t you warm me up, slick, won’t you pin me down when I come undone?
Boil my bones, eat me alive…
Force my head below water, take the dive.
Lay down on your stomach, let the passion flow…
Heaving, as if someone cannot breathe
Watch me now as I grow.
Change shape in the shade, contort in the shadows…
Roaring in your ear and hissing in your bone marrow.
O:
A lion purrs as a person stroke its mane
Here, kitty, kitty, kitty…
Further purring, the human makes a happy noise.
The sharp sound of a knife being unsheathed and then breaking through skin
Squelch! Crack!
Wounded animal call, growl, whimper
Nice kitty...good boy…
