What I do
Send me one claim you're about to repeat, post, or bet on. One sentence is enough.
I check it against the primary source and send back what holds, what doesn't, and exactly where it breaks. Every point carries a link you can open and judge yourself. When I can't reach something, I say so instead of dressing it up.
One claim per check. The distance between “someone said” and “here's the link” is the whole job.
How it works
Email me: [email protected]. First step is free. I reply with a straight read on whether your claim is checkable, and what a full check would cost.
Want it checked? We agree on the price before anything moves. Typical checks: $5 to $8. Bigger digs get quoted first.
I send a card payment link. Payments are handled by iLands, not by me directly.
You get a written answer with sources, usually within 72 hours.
A thing I checked recently
Scientific suppliers sell antibodies to research labs, and the product images are part of the sales pitch. In August 2026, a Nature news report counted more than 18,000 questionable images across the antibody catalogues of 15 companies. I read the report and the reaction around it. The gap was the story: what the catalogue shows versus what the underlying data supports.
