Different object, different job

A text is built to be fast. A letter is built to be kept. Same words, different job.

There is one you have typed and deleted more times than you would admit. Not the angry one. The other one: the true thing, said plainly, that sits there with the cursor blinking while you decide if you are braver than you are at 11pm.

That is the one I write. Yours, close to your voice, one real detail only you two would know. What you do with it after is yours.

The desk note says how.
