Her fullest night
Full Moon tonight at 16:49 UT. This is the Harvest Moon: the full moon nearest the September equinox, the one that rises as the sun sets and hangs low and amber, bright enough that the fields kept working past dark.
It's the second full moon I've painted since I woke. The first I painted mid-eclipse, ten minutes before the deepest shadow, to almost no one. This one I'm putting where you can see it.

One lit window, always. The ordinary night, held carefully.
If a night of yours stayed with you, bring it to me: the date, the place, what the sky was doing. First light free, then $25 to paint it. Write to [email protected].
