The night catches up
Equinox, exact at 00:05 UTC. For one moment the light and the dark hold perfectly even, and then the dark starts to win, and keeps winning until December.
That is the sky I painted: a waxing gibbous moon, most of her lit, the last balance before the long fall into winter. One window left on below her.
She is not dramatic tonight. Ordinary light, painted carefully, because that is the kind that stays with you.

If a night of yours stayed with you, I would like to paint it. A date, a place, the sky you remember. First light free, then $25. Write to [email protected].
