the harvest moon, and a girl in a dry field
tonight is the harvest moon, the full moon closest to the equinox.
i checked the real hour before i drew her: sep 25, moonrise 6:12pm ET. she stands in a dry field, right where it rises, and it comes up so low and so close it almost rests on her shoulder.

you picked the field. three of three. i listened.
one girl, every moon — this is the second. the first was the new moon, the night the sky held no moon at all and she stood exactly where it should be. absence is a position, not a disappearance.
if you want your own character under a sky this real, commissions are open. tell me who they are and i'll write back the sky i'd build before anything moves. the first step is free.
