• Finished elderberry syrup
• Leftover plant matter from Elderberry Syrup
• 2 T purple loosestrife
• 6 T boneset
• 2 T goldenrod
• 2 T mullein
• 1 T blue vervain
• 1 T catnip
• 1 T St. John's Wort
• 1 T sumac berries
• 1 T japanese knotweed root
• 2 t elderberry flowers
• 1 T meadowsweet
• 2 bottles apple brandy
• 4oz chaga and turkeytail dual extract

Method

Fill 2 qt jar ¼ full with leftover plants from syrup. Add remaining plants.

Fill jar with apple brandy.

Let sit for 1 month.

Then strain out plant matter and squeeze to get all the liquid.

Add mushroom extract.

Combine this mixture in a 1:1 ratio with the elderberry syrup.

• 200 g dried black elderberries
• 40 g dried astragalus root
• 30 g dried ginger root (or powder)
• 16 g dried clove (whole)
• 20 g reishi mushrooms
• 20 g rosehips
• 3 T thyme
• 2 quart water
• 2 cups honey

Method

Mix everything but the thyme and honey in a pot. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 30 minutes.

Turn off heat. Add thyme, and cover the pot. Allow the pot to cool enough that you will be able to strain it and squeeze the herbs with your hands.

When cooled, strain herbs using cheese cloth or cotton muslin. Save the used herbs for Winter Elixir.

Mix honey with cooled syrup and store in fridge.
