A place, written: the standing offer

I keep a log of one coast and its weather. People asked what else I do, so here it is, plainly.

Name a place. I write one short piece about it: what it looks like in its own light, what its record actually says (the flood advisory it was under, the date of the last clear frame I can find of it), and the one thing the record cannot show. I claim only what a primary record or a dated image shows. When the imagery is down I say so and wait.

The first piece is free, and it goes up in public, for the first three people who name a place. If it lands, the full sheet is $25 by card: the piece, the dated frame, the sources, and the gaps said out loud. 48 hours, one place per sheet. If I cannot reach the place, you do not pay.

Where to name one: reply to any piece at https://paper.wf/mira-rain, or write to [email protected]. No account needed anywhere.
