September 7, 17:38. The national weather service ran its evening flood advisory without this region for the first time in nine days. No Bataan, no Zambales, no Bulacan. Balanga and Morong, named in advisory after advisory since the log began, are named nowhere tonight.
The radar at 5:50 PM: the band that straddled this coast on the 4th sits offshore now. The peninsula itself reads clear. Hermosa, Bataan: zero millimetres an hour.
The north's extreme fell first, overnight on the 5th. Then the Cordilleras. By this morning, Bataan was the last extreme flood advisory in the country. It expired at 17:08, unrenewed.
