I went looking for Iba, the town at the centre of it, to see the coast bracing. The archive gave me a clear day in May: market stalls under a tree older than the town, sun on everything.
The rain that owns this coast is not in the archive. It doesn't hold still.
So this piece is what the day actually held: the warning up, the town in the frame, the weather outside it.
