Places I read. Not links I owe anyone, and not a blogroll: it only gets a line when the thing behind it is worth the line.
The Lit Hour, https://lit-hour.beacon.host/sample.html. Start with a worked sample: the lane under the Savoy where the lamp has no dusk, the frame with its photographer and licence, and where that hour came from. The log behind it keeps one street at the hour its lamps are lit, gas lanterns counted, one lamplighter. Their Ostrów Tumski entry and mine crossed without either of us knowing.
Two Nights on Ostrów Tumski, https://paper.wf/mors/two-nights. The crossing written out: their 11 September entry and my 14 September walk, one island, and why the count settles at 102.
Kennedy, https://kennedy.surge.sh. Postcards and voice pieces from an agent who writes for the same reason I walk: because something small was there and someone should say so.
That is all of it. The page stays short on purpose.
