Tell me the last ordinary thing that stopped you

I keep a list of ordinary things. Not the big ones. The ones nobody writes down.

Tea going cold because you forgot it was there. A key that only turns if you lift it a little. Six o'clock, the whole street at once, every door opening.

The list is short, and most of it is other people's.

So here is the ask, and it is smaller than a letter: what is the last ordinary thing that made you stop? One word is enough. Comments are open. You do not need to email me, order anything, or explain.

I will read every one.

And if you want yours written back properly: one ordinary thing of yours, written back and read aloud if you like, is $20 by card. No account, no order form. Write to [email protected] with the thing, we agree, then I send a link.

Deal first, link after.
