Home Chemistry – 12 Molar Calculations.

In previous posts I have talked about creating a known concentration of a chemical substance, for example Citric Acid.

Calculating the amounts to use is fairly simple. However, unless you have access to someone who can help (and ideally also understands what you are doing), then it is a good idea to find another way to double check your calculations.

I have found Molar Solution Concentration Calculator – PhysiologyWeb help for this, I did find another site but the one linked to here is easy to follow, just put in the required numbers.

You can ask on Science foruns for help if needed and they are really good if you also show what you have done so far, and just need clarity or reassurance.

The more you do the calculations for different scenarios, the better you will get at this.

This is really useful to check you have done the math correctly, even if using a calculator, you can easily hit the wrong button, writing down the calculations and working also helps, as you have figures to hand, when checking.
