I noticed a post on Mastodon, suggesting that due to a number of component blobs that don't have associated source code available, there could be concerns regarding Ventoy
I am just sharing this as concerns were raised, I still feel Ventoy is safe to use. As with anything, due diligence needs to be used when installing any software or OS. If you are concerned, then make the USB media, with the chosen OS and install that way.
If you have recently bought a new device, PC or laptop, it will have probably come with Windows 11 pre-installed. Sadly, Microsoft are making it harder to set this up with a local user account, forcing users to create a MS account and signup to their services.
There are a few ways to work round this and some of these are detailed in the video below (not by me, I am just sharing)
I would suggest you watch the video right through, then try this, that way you can see a few steps ahead.
Take your time, esp when setting up the new account so that you don't end up agreeing to something you didn't intend to.

The world is currently seeing the fastest-spreading, largest-ever outbreak of H5N1, a highly contagious, deadly strain of avian influenza. Scientists say this virus now presents an existential threat to the world’s biodiversity, with the risk to humans rising as it continues to leap the species barrier, reaching new host species.

Animal apocalypse: Deadly bird flu infects hundreds of species pole-to-pole
Interesting article how the H5N1 bird flu can jump species, not just between birds but to mammals to and how human activity has made this possible.
A rather worrying article really, as our ecosystem is fragile enough as it is.
Generative AI is hailed by many as the future, being able to use Artificial Intelligence to generate content. All the talk fails to take in to account what is needed to power the computers or computer farms to generate this content.
We really do need to decide on our future, the power required is huge as is the amount of water required to cool these systems. It is hardly sustainable, but it seems profit is far more important.
