The Elephant & Donkey Show
The elephant sock puppet and the donkey sock puppet put on quite an engaging show, with the elephant playing a convincing baddie and the donkey, the “good” character. Some didn't like the goody two shoes, and rooted for the elephant. The puppeteer sighed at how easily the children were engaged with his silly pantomime. The plot was hardly new or original, mostly revolving around how the brown brutes from a land across the seas were coming to attack the village and whether the donkey or the elephant was better qualified to protect us from the big bad brownies.
As the donkey and elephant both loudly made pleas for money, the audience stuffed cash in their favorite puppets mouth. Each time, the puppeteer, Mr. War Pig, emptied the cash into his pocket, and theatrically thanked the audience. Making people a part of the show was great show biz, and the fiat monopoly money tokens with Illuminati logos printed on linen strips really made the audience feel like they were controlling the story interactively.
