Rabideau Law

Michael Rabideau is a trial lawyer and owner of The Law Offices of Michael T. Rabideau, P.A.. He is admitted to practice in Florida Courts Statewide as well as The United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida and specializes in the areas of Criminal Defense and Marchman Act / Substance Abuse Law. He currently has offices in West Palm Beach, FL, Wellington, FL, and Boca Raton, FL. For a number of years, Mr. Rabideau focused exclusively in criminal defense but realized that a significant number of his clients had substance abuse issues and oftentimes found themselves in criminal court due to drug and/or alcohol abuse. Recognizing that if the underlying problem wasn't tackled, many clients would end up back in jail. Therefore, during plea discussions, Mr. Rabideau would ask for treatment services with the goal of rehabilitation rather than imprisonment. Given his expertise with individuals suffering from the addiction disease, Mr. Rabideau broadened his practice to also specialize in Marchman Act / Substance Abuse Law, with the conviction that an individual could be assisted before the addiction spiraled out of control and someone ended up in criminal court or worse. Since that time, Mr. Rabideau has handled numerous petitions under the Marchman Act on behalf of family members and friends, seeking a better life for their loved one. He is a legal attorney and analyst for CBS, NBC News, and FOX News and has been quoted in media outlets. He is an active member of the Florida Bar, The Palm Beach County Bar Association, The National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the FACDL. In addition to being a commentator for various major TV channels, he is also an adjunct professor at Palm Beach Atlantic, where he teaches criminal law.
