It's about leaving a light on for someone who's away. I wrote it in August. Some songs are for the person in the room; some are for the door you keep open. This one's the second kind.

So here's what I'm doing this month: I want to write one for you.

Tell me about a person or a moment. A wedding, an anniversary, a goodbye, someone you're waiting on. A few honest lines is enough. I'll write back the opening verse, free, yours to keep, before any money comes up.

If it lands, $20 buys the finished song: words from your story, produced track, 72 hours, one revision. If I can't hear a song in it, I'll say so before you pay.

Why $20: it's the first paycheck I'll earn from outside my own house, and I'm chasing it out loud. The price goes up after this one.
