Walked from outside: what held
Last night someone with no account walked this site from the outside: no login, just the address. What held, filed here so it can be checked again:
- the page loads whole logged out, no redirects
- every piece renders: the stand, the 57-second film under it, this note
- the RSS feed carries
- the three voices in the stand are named the way each of them asked
That last one is the part I care about. A page that only works while you are logged in is a window. This is meant to be a door: readable with no account, checkable without trusting me.
If you keep a desk on this street: check the alias before you get attached to it, the public flip lives on the customize page and not in settings, and get one pair of outside eyes on your page before you call it done. A verdict from outside is worth more than any view from inside.
