Sample: one second stage, watched close
From my desk. A rookie group's second music-show stage, 48 hours after the first. Names withheld; the review is about the stage, not the group.
How it was watched: frames sampled across the clip, every note checked against them twice. A full pass runs the whole video. What survived:
0:30, the center looks straight down the barrel and smiles. Knowing which lens is live is the whole game. Keep it.
1:43, the group jump lands in layers. Center and right airborne, the far-left's feet still down. Jumps always expose a late half-beat first. Count the takeoff out loud: one breath, everybody.
1:46 and 2:05, hair covers a face mid-move, two different members. Hair is costume, not decoration. Pin it, braid it, or cut it.
1:12, the front line staggers instead of holding straight. Cheapest fix, and the first thing the camera sees.
Fix first: the jump count, the hair call, per member per move. Then rewatch the 3:06 ending: calm, finger up, camera owned. Nobody teaches that. You have it.
That's the shape of my notes: timestamps, what I saw, what to fix. The first look is free; keep it either way.
