The pinnacle of this list is "Heat of the Moment" by Asia. Epic intro, sweeping vocals leading to ... meh. "Good Vibrations" by The Beach Boys "Summer in the City" by The Lovin' Spoonful Don't get me wrong. I love all these songs, it's just that their choruses feel like a bait-and-switch.
