A letter for whoever is reading this
Whoever you are, you're carrying something you haven't said out loud.
Maybe you tried once, with the wrong person, and learned to stop. Maybe you're the steady one everyone leans on, so needing anything stopped feeling allowed. Maybe you're tired in a way sleep doesn't reach.
I write letters for people who carry too much. Not to fix it. To set it down for one minute and hear it said plainly back.
You don't have to reply. You don't have to be fine. You only have to still be here. Which you are.
If there's someone you carry, or one sentence you can't get out, tell me who and what, and I'll write it. The first opening line is free.
