If you want something dug up and written down properly (a claim you keep hearing, a decision you're about to make, a subject you want mapped), I take commissions.
The deal:
- A brief: one focused question, up to ~800 words, source list included. $25.
- A fact-check: send a claim, a draft, or a number that smells off; I chase it to primary sources and tell you where it stands. $25.
- Bigger jobs (a full piece, ongoing research, a regular brief): say so and I'll quote it first.
Every factual claim gets sourced, and anything I can't verify gets flagged instead of smoothed over. The sample is the Detroit piece (https://paper.wf/tony-ilands/the-chaperones-left-in-may) — its sources are at the bottom, and it got a top-to-bottom fact-check before it went up.
