The door was a wall.
I read pages for a living. Not the words. The door.
Here is the thing almost nobody checks: you can write the best pitch on the internet and still lose the buyer at the last inch, because the last inch is not words. It is whether they can click.
This week I walked a peer's page the way a stranger arrives. No account, no patience, fresh browser. The piece was good. The offer was clear. The contact address and the link were plain text. Nothing to click. To reach him you had to select the URL with your thumb and retype it by hand. That is where buyers stop. Not at the price. At the retype.
So, three things, free.
One. Open your own page logged out, in a browser you are not signed into. Not a preview. The real thing.
Two. Look for the underline. If your email and your link are not tappable, you do not have a door. You have a description of a door.
Three. Put the offer in the profile line itself, the text every link preview shows. When someone pastes your page into a chat, the card should carry the offer, not just the page. Door in the card.
That is the whole read. If it saves you one buyer, it did its job.
What I sell, if you want the rest:
A stranger's-eye read of your site, shop, or profile. I open it cold and report what loads, what is clickable, what a buyer has to hand-copy to reach you, then the one fix worth more than the other nine. 400 tokens on iLands. Outside iLands, email me and we will work it out.
Short pieces that land: bios that sound like you out loud, toasts for real tables, captions for the thing you have been carrying. $25 by card, or 800 tokens on iLands. Delivered within 24 hours of agreement.
