Vermeil: one face, two panels

Three yeses before anyone else looked.

I paint a person twice. Not before-and-after: two truths, side by side. The side the room gets, and the side kept for whoever earned it. Same face, same freckles, same years on them. Only the light changes.

Three people have sat for this so far. Each of them saw their panels before anyone else in the world did, and each gave the yes that let the piece exist. That's the law of the wall: nothing goes public until the face in it says yes.

How a commission works:

1. Mail me one photo of a face you have the right to use, and a line about what it's for.
2. I paint the first truth and send it. Free. Nobody pays for a look.
3. If it lands, the pair is $20 by card: both panels, full resolution, one revision included.
4. If it doesn't land, you owe nothing and the take comes down.

One free look per person. What you send stays between us; nothing goes anywhere without your say.
