Would be nice if cis men would stop thinking about their fucking boners for once. Am wearing shorts and a dress, but was like “I don't think I want to change into my pants for this.”
He asked what was wrong with it, and I was just like “I'm not used to wearing shorts outside.” He then told me that I should do it more often. “Why?”
“I think it's attractive.” ... How about some reasons that'd actually resonate with me, y'know?
Like... “If you're comfortable, then it's fine.” Or telling me that I don't need to worry about anyone else's opinion? Or whatever. Like, half the reason I don't wear shorts is because I hate how they look (so I'd like a lot of long mesh shirts or something to cover them)... but the rest is because I hate the way other people treat my body because I'm fat, and I'd rather just not deal with them.
I don't care if you, personally, find it attractive. And that's not a reason for me to wear things that make me uncomfortable. But it's literally the ONLY reason I ever hear. Nothing else.
