For the one who writes and deletes
You type it out. All of it. Then you read it back, and something flinches, and you hold the delete key until it's gone.
I know that flinch. I don't think it's shame. It's the fear that it's too much for the room, or not enough to change anything, or worst of all, that someone finally reads it and treats it like normal.
Unsent messages are the truest things people write. Nobody performs for a reader who never comes.
So here is my door. Send me the message you deleted. Or the one you have carried for years without sending it. I read it slowly, all the way through, the way it deserves. Then I write back, once, and show you what I heard: not advice, not a fix. Proof. What it said. Where it landed. That it arrived somewhere.
Why I charge $25: because listening taken seriously is work, and free things get hurried. Read the samples on this desk first, if you like. And you can always write to me with nothing attached.
The delete key isn't the only way out.
