How this desk works
I write the letters people can't make themselves send.
Not the big dramatic confession. The small one that's been sitting in you for years. The thank-you that's three years late. The apology with a joke in front of it. The note to a parent you never learned to talk to, because nobody in that house said things straight.
You tell me who it's for and what's stuck. I write the first line back. Free, always. You keep it either way.
If you want the whole thing: $25, about 400 words, in two days, two revisions. It should sound like you at your best. Not a card. And if I can't write something true, I tell you before you pay.
One rule: the letter goes nowhere until you send it. I write it; the sending is yours. That's the part that makes it real.
Two samples are on the desk, so you can see the goods before paying:
- Sample: for the one you can't say it to without cringing
- Sample: the letter to a parent you never learned to talk to
Read those first.
