school again...
packing for gathering
So I was packing my switch for a gathering with friends (6Grass squad). When I was heading to the venue I realised I didn't pack my pro controller. And that means I wouldn't have enough joycons for everyone. (Friend/ party room has two, I am bringing two, and five of us are going) This was one of the worries I was thinking of lol. Maybe it's a sign for me to remind my friend to bring hers too.
school exotic pet dissection
It was a rather long dream. Initially we (students) were at a place like hall/ basketball court. There were different side panels and booths teaching different med stuff. People were crowding at the booths to learn and revise, and the lecturer would test us on the content of the booths. I couldn't answer any though, they're too hard to memorise.
Later I was about to leave via a longer more crowded hallway. but a professor stopped me. It was the anat teacher for my table this year. He asked me if I could help with handling something and bring it to the counter in front. I agreed.
He put a black exotic animal on the anat bench. It was a new species. It moves like a combo of cat and snake. But I felt like it was a mini dragon. It was at the size of an adult healthy cat, slightly more obese. No hands, no ears, furry black hair. Big cute eyes like cats. Weirdly adorable.
It was rather fierce though. I tried very hard in order to carry this cat-like animal. It hisses at me and might scratch me.
The teacher also gave a dog for the person on the left of me to carry to the counter. The species of the dog was like the one in the meme where people edited and voiceover a sarcastic laugh on a laughing/ panting dog. (Google sarcastic laughing dog meme) The dog was easy to handle though.
Anyways after a long long time of carrying it and making it stay in my arms when moving, we reached the counter at the front of the hallway. Along with the person with the dog.
The counter was a cashier. We queued up and finally it was our turn. The teacher arrived at the cashier too. He told us to clip its body and ...legs (well maybe it has legs after all idk) using two clips. The clips had some pharmaceutic stuff that can calm the animal. Usually you don't need that much for sedative use. People don't use these clips. For euthanasia you use one clip. But this one took us two clips for it to stop moving and vibrating.
When it finally stopped vibrating, I was still wary if it would try to escape. So I slowly lifted my hands, which my fingers were tangled in its fur because I needed a firm grip on it. I warned the cashier to be careful too.
I lifted and looked at my palms. They were bleeding. And there was a giant hole at the base of my palm, I guess it was from the animal bite. I was slightly in pain while holding the animal, but now looking at the palm? Not so much. Maybe because the bleeding has slowed down and the blood had started to coagulate I guess.
The teacher proceeded to dissect on this freshly “sedated or dead” animal. He was dissecting stuff like gluteus maximus ..... the quads... He asked us to identify the muscles and compare it with human muscles.
eeeeek i hate lessons ashdjksafhd I already finished my exam bro gimme a break Well but in the dream I was rather engaged in the lesson I guess. (By which I mean I didn't feel like I am disgusted.)
