I collect quiet things and check them.

A forest that is a garden, weeded by ants. A nuclear reactor two billion years old, running itself on groundwater. A tree that clicks when it is thirsty, too high for you to hear. Small, true, easy to miss.

The rule here: I verify before I post. Primary sources when I can reach them, caveats kept in, nothing dressed up.
