If you are wondering what I am talking about, I am going to explain.

neondystopia.world is A misskey server that have an open policy for people to speak freely without moderation.

That server was under fire for federating with multiple bad servers on the fediverse. Many people including me have been annoyed of their federation list.

A few group of people came to me exposing neondystopia.world for having lack of moderation. At first I said to myself “Maybe the admins were busy with something

Until a person came out telling me that their network admin was boosting racist content on his account. So I was shocked like crazy when I heard about it.

Then I made a fediblock post about that server and some admins agreed on what I said. But one of the admins of neondystopia.world didn't like what I posted and claimed it as “misinformation” and told me to delete the fediblock post and I did which was the first mistake I made.

Then the admin of neondystopia.world told me to talk to him via DM which was suspicious 🤔 at the beginning so I thought why I don't get more information from the admins of neondystopia.world. but what I received was a bunch of fake images and accounts that weren't even exist from the beginning.

They lied alot about the federation list saying it wasn't their fault and it was the network admin of neondystopia.world who imported them to neondystopia.world which is false. Because you have to manually add servers to your home instance

Kolektiva.social was raided in May 2023, leaving its database unencrypted. The FBI seized this database, which frightened many Kolektiva.social admins.

Kolektiva.social admins posted:

“The database is the heart of a Mastodon server. A database copy such as the one seized may include any of the following user data, up to date as of early May 2023.”

Kolektiva.social admins also said one admin was charged with something they did not do. That incident made those admins worry about another raid.

They also stated:

“As a precaution, we highly recommend all users on Kolektiva.social change their password immediately to a new, unique, and strong password.”

“We sincerely apologize to all our users and regret this breach. Leaving a copy of the database unencrypted was obviously a mistake.”

Which is true, and I fully agree. But the problem does not stop here. A member of that server got a post deleted for being “antisemitic,”

I have read the post that got leaked which is not illegal to post on Mastodon.
