Looks like the new Zoom terms and conditions now allow training AI on user content with no opt out. 🤣 See section 10.2
I am not too sure what data is shared, or how it is used, but big tech is clearly incapable of playing fairly, we have companies using all uploaded data to train AI, for example photos, text, code anything and usually the consent is given via terms and conditions so end users are so tied in to closed systems, the users auto consent weather they like it or not.
The fact that zoom is used by organisation such as child protection agencies also for me RAISES SERIOUS CONCERNS.
Please consider using an alternative that actually protects and respects privacy such as Big Blue Button
This link to the NOAA tool was posted to fedi, by Getzler Lab at KenyonCollege. I am sharing here as it is looks like it could be really useful to others too.
Meta (Facebook and Instagram) prohibited from using personal data for advertisement.
This is a really important development in that it shows that the GDPR and the Law are to be followed. Massive win for our personal data protection. People are waking up and finally taking back control and see what big tech is really doing.
Please note that as of 18/11/2022, the Twitter situation is very fast moving. People are moving to Mastodon in large numbers, so by the time this is published, who knows what the situation will be.

It goes to show we really do need to get rid of big tech, as they simply can't be trusted and care more about data and the associated income than about users.
Further to recent videos on Jupyter notebook, I have been doing some simple experimenting to get the feel of this.]
This reat for writing and data visualisation. As the following two example screenshots show. I have not fully written the code here, but I have made modifications. The table now shows total rows and columns after I did some research and figured out how to count columns.

Presenting data in graphical form, using MatPlotLib
