Virtual Code Club August 2020
The Paignton Library virtual code club is still running, please feel free to share what you are working on in Scratch with our Scratch studio
This is a newly created studio for these completed projects.
To keep people safe this studio is also invite only you will therefore need to contact the library, provide your scratch user name and I can invite you in.
Please contact [Paignton Library and information centre](https://www.torbaylibraries.org.uk/web/arena/paigntonlibrary
Related profiles :-
Both Repl.it and FreeCodeCamp have excellent features, to share code, ask for help and help others.
I have been looking in to the Repl.it teams feature at the moment, early days as I think I will wait till the forum feature is up as this seems integral to the teams feature.
Stay safe on the forums.

Paignton Library Summer Virtual Code Club 2
To continue with the Paignton Library Virtual Code Club.
Paignton Library will be sending these activities out via Social media using the hashtag #PLAIC_codeclub
If you don't already have an account for either home or school then you can sign up to a free scratch account via * Scratch
While all the Scratch Module 1 activities are here
The modules can either be followed as they are, or as with the physical code club, are useful as a guide. If you get stuck or need inspiration how to do things.
We still have the Library Studio up here.
If you share with the Scratch studio, remember to do so safely and not share too much personal information. By sharing you can help others, learn from others and improve your own learning as you go.
I created some of my own instructions, for Scratch 3.0 a while back which are presented below.
updated the above list to point to GitLab rather than GitHub as I am moving away from GitHub as much as possible
Virtual Code Club progress
We are slowly working through the Code Club activities as part of the virtual code club.
We are still looking for more people to take part, and upload their projects to the new 2020 studio.

Scratch : Share projects
By default, Scratch projects are set to private. This means that only you can edit them. This feature helps to keep users safe. However the very nature of Scratch is collaborative and you are encouraged to share, but remember to be safe while you are sharing, Ask a grown up first.
To share your new project:
Don't worry if you forget to give your project a name, clicking on the share button brings up this screen.
Adding to a studio
Method 1
From the above screen you will see there is an Add to studio button near the bottom right
Method 2
If you click on your name in the corner, click my stuff you are then taken to this screen, where you can share your project with a studio you are following.
You do this by clicking Add to and selecting the studio from the list.
