World Neverland Lore Dive 3 : Qukria

<![CDATA[ as always : it is better to read in the original page.

BONJOUUUUR

Did you miss me?

A quick recap: I had a four-month course in a foreign language (which I wasn't fluent in) so I didn't have much time to devote to my research... I was able to do a little bit at a time in my spare time (which wasn't much, but it was good) and that's why there was a lot of time in between.

So, due to the reason given above, I haven't had time to start playing the old games (┳Д┳) but I have at least found some very interesting Japanese websites. For this article, I've only used 2/3 of them because the amount of information found is so great that I preferred to split it into several themes ahah

In short, I found someone who had tried to gather some metadata from Qukria. Before that, he was collecting information about the game Zehn Continent (I'll translate and compile that another time because the number of PAGES full of articles is just HUGE). On top of that, I got some pretty cool information about Qukria, but also about the world of World Neverland and also about the Carnet empire ( yeah... that goes a long way...)

I've also joined the Reddit and the Discord (the link is on Reddit). Don't hesitate to join, it's a great place to be!

In short, a lot of talk and little action.

*DISCLAIMER: This is going to be a long article (at least longer than the previous ones). A lot of information will be given, so I'm afraid the article will be really LONG. "You are not prepared" said Illidan Stormrage and he's not wrong le boug**.

!--more--

To begin the article, here is a small image of the Kingdom of Qukria from the viewpoint of its South Tower:

Map of Qukria Kingdom from the south tower

Let's get started!

----------

(so #WorldNeverland and for you @worldneverland@a.gup.pe)

## ## Lesson at Qukria, the History

As we're as uneducated as a poor child in Qukria, I can see myself starting with this part. Step by step, we're going to translate each of the lessons (those with a link with history and see what we come up with.

leçon 1

| Japanese | English |
| ---- | ---- |
| 1年目 13日 | year 1 day 13 |
| 今日は世界の歴史を学びましょう。 | Today, let's study the history of the world. |
| カルナの森の遺跡についてで | Let's talk about the ruins of the Karnah Forest. |
| カルナの森や遺跡の滝には壊れた建物やがれきがあります。 | In the Karnah Forest and the waterfall of the ruins, there are broken buildings and debris. |
| このような大昔の生活の後を「遺跡」と言います。 | These remnants are called "ruins" and bear witness to ancient life. |
| では、この辺りは大昔、どのような場所だったのでしょうか？ | So, what was this area like in ancient times? |
| 実はいろいろな街を結ぶ道の集まる場所で、とても大きな街だったのです。 | In reality, it was a place where various roads connecting different cities converged, and it was a very large city. |
| この街も、とてつもなく大きな「黄金の帝国」の街の一つで、 | This city was also one of the immensely large cities of the "Golden Empire" (another name for the Carnet Empire), |
| 帝国にはここのように大きな街や、もっと大きな街さえ無？にあったそうです。 | and it seems that there were even larger cities, perhaps even larger than this one, in this empire. |
| そんな国がなぜ無くなってしまったのでしょう…？ | Why such a country disappeared...? |
| それはまた明日。 | We'll talk about that tomorrow. |
| はい、今日はここまで。 | Yes, that's all for today. |

ah! Carnet Day is the day on which Ethj opened the Gate of aben to the world and from which the Angelos come from... We also finally have a name for the period following this disaster: Era of the Great Collapse.

Leçon 3

| Japanese | English |
|----------------------------|--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
| 15日 | Day 15 |
| さて、昨日の続き「大崩壊時代」についてです。 | Well, let's continue from yesterday, the era of the "Great Collapse." |
| 世界中に「アンゲロス」という魔物がたくさん現れて好き勝手に暴れ回り、 | Demonic creatures called "Angélos" appeared all over the world, wreaking havoc as they pleased. |
| 家も街も畑も森も、何もかも無くなってしまいました。 | Houses, cities, fields, forests—everything disappeared. |
| 残った人々や？たちも頑張って戦いましたが、魔物は強くてかないません。 | The remaining people fought hard, but the demons were too strong to defeat. |
| しかし、戦う人々の勇気に心打たれた大天使ノーマが味方を与えてくれました。 | However, moved by the courage of the fighters, the archangel Norma provided them with assistance. |
| それが「ノラム人」という巨人と、「バグウェル」という龍族です。 | These were the giants called "Noram"(Nolems) and the dragon species named "Bugwell." |
| こうして魔物は退治され、ようやく平和な日々が再び訪れました。 | Thus, the demons were eradicated, and finally, peaceful days returned. |
| でも、街や国を再建するのはとても大変なことでした。 | However, rebuilding cities and countries was a very challenging task. |

There's a reference to Norma, accompanied by her giant Nolems (if we take the translation of Elnea Kingdom) and the Bugwells, which are a kind of dragon. This fits in well with what we know about this part of the story.

Lesson 4/5/6

This lesson is about the use of money, which is similar to Elnea Kingdom. and fish. Unfortunately, I don't know how to translate the names, but it's highly likely that the 'Zuwa Worms' and others are also part of Qukria lol

special 6: Appearance of Lada, their rudders, and Kokoi (?) that lay eggs ...

For the rest of the lessons that don't talk about the story, I'll just skip them.

leçon 7

| Japanese | English |
|----------------------------|--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
| 23日 | Day 23 |
| 明日はこの王国の誕生日、「建国の日」です。 | Tomorrow is the kingdom's birthday, the "Foundation Day." |
| 「勇者の公園」で恒例の「ダロスの速駆け」をやります。 | We will have the annual "Daruso Sprint" at the "Hero's Park." |
| 勇者の公園を出発したら、お花畑まで走っていって花を摘みます。 | After departing from the Hero's Park, we'll run to the flower fields and pick flowers. |
| その花を一番早く勇者の像に供えた人が一等賞です。 | The person who offers the flowers to the hero's statue the fastest will receive the first prize. |
| 勇者ダロスは悪い魔法使いからこの国を救った英雄です。 | Hero Daros saved this country from an evil wizard. |
| 一等になれなくても、心を込めてお花を供えましょう。 | Even if you don't win the first prize, offer your flowers with heartfelt sincerity. |
| 今日はしっかりと休養を取って、明日に備えてください。 | Take a good rest today to prepare for tomorrow. |

New location, Woohoo! and a "Daruso Sprint" party? always great to learn about the cultures of faraway countries!

AND the appearance of a new character! Let's all cheer for the person playing the role of the spirit. |

We have the appearance of the deity Felta, who, if we refer to Elnea Kingdom, resembles the goddess Fertas (their names are also close!), both of whom are agricultural deities. Cool information from the second part of the dialogue: Star Festival, known in English as Astral Day, is also celebrated in Qukria. What happens during this festival is therefore a meteorological event taking place in the world of World Neverland and not just in Elnea Kingdom. so?

Here's an overview of Qukria's history through the lessons. It's very interesting all the same. I haven't mentioned the other lessons about places or fruit and vegetables, though. That's for a future Deep Dive.

Qukria: Work-wise?

In terms of work, we have some information from the Japanese Wiki. I'm not going to talk about the technicalities of calculating salary points, as it's pretty much the same as in Elnea Kingdom.

Craftsman

A craftsman has several levels: apprentice craftsman → ordinary craftsman → skilled craftsman → great craftsman → legendary craftsman, who, depending on the level, earns more or less poms (Qukria's currency)

On the first, 27th and 30th day of the year, they have a special event.

Farmer

They look after the Cocoï (equivalent to hens? because they lay eggs) and the lada (our rudders? because they produce milk).

They have several special days, such as
Day 5: Harvesting Oats
Day 6: Transporting Forage
Day 7: Making bread for a bountiful harvest
Day 8: Preparation for the grand festival
Day 23: Transportation of fertilizer
Day 25: Sowing wheat seeds
(Note that this is similar to the farmers' calendar in Elnea Kingdom)

Knights / Warriors

There are three types of Knights:
the SS,
the fighter
the mage

Otherwise, it's the same as Elnea Kingdom, with specific in-game and META rules for the game itself.

Priests and Maiden

Same as the priests in Elnea Kingdom, they have to be single. There's no more information in the wiki.

King/ Queen

Apart from more META information, the King or Queen have no different speciality in Elnea Kingdom. The first child, the dauphin, inherits the throne when the sovereign dies. They can't have other jobs, but they can take part in activities such as fishing.

Animals

I haven't found any groupings or information on animals yet, but I did find a web page with various images of monsters found in Qukria Kingdom.

Topography of Qukria Kingdom

According to what I've found, here's a summary of what's in Qukria:
Temple of Isca to the west, which is on Phraida Falls, in the forest of Fey.
Inside, there's a Spirit Tree.
To the north, this is sacred land.
At the foot of the Hill of Vow mountain, there is a church, a school and a dojo.
At the centre of the kingdom is the royal castle, and a place that tells the royal story.
There is a market and fields.
There are places of culture and entertainment, such as the Gardens of Harl, Theatre, and Fertility Square.
Across the kingdom, there's the Phraida River
There are public baths and bars.
One tourist attraction is the Minari Tower (?)
The eastern part of the kingdom is full of mystery, with the Karnah Forest filled with Gena miasma.
There's also the Karnah Tower, in which there's a "room of knowledge" containing important information (to check out when I start playing lol*) with a library waiting for us.

(When I've found a nice map to show all the places, I'll do it, but I haven't found it yet (and I'm a bit lazy too)).

Closing remarks

So here's a bit more information that I was able to find and transcribe into English.

As always, I know I'll have to play the old games at some point to be able to really transcribe all the info. I've already found out where and how to play them, now I just have to do it ahah

In any case, it was really interesting to find out about the history of Qukria, and I was also able to find out about Nalulu and Carnet Empire. I'll talk about what I found out about them in a future Deep Dive.

On that note, as always; if you've got any cool info to pass on, images, stuff or even if you've played the old games and you're prepared to transcribe it for us, don't hesitate! We'll love you with open arms ahah

Bye-bye! :D

(my sources :
http://sitateyakanpari.blog75.fc2.com/blog-entry-118.html
https://w.atwiki.jp/qukria/
https://forum.gamer.com.tw/C.php?bsn=37&snA=114 )

div class="signature"
  p class="signature-text"Plumereine/p
  p class="signature-hobbies"Where I do some writing, Conlang, Knitting, and other hobbies ˙˚ʚ(´◡`)ɞ˚˙/ppa class="signature-link" href="https://linksta.cc/@plumeplume" target="blank"(My Linkstack)/a/ppa class="signature-link" href="https://plumereine.neocities.org/" target="blank"(My Website)/a/ppa class="signature-link" href="https://paper.wf/plumereine/table-of-contents" target="blank"(Table of Contents)/a/ppa class="signature-link" href="https://miaouwouafmiaou.be/profile/plumereine/profile" target="blank"(To comment this article or interact with me :D aka @plumereine@miaouwouafmiaou.be )/a /p
/div]]>

as always : it is better to read in the original page.

DISCLAIMER: This is going to be a long article (at least longer than the previous ones). A lot of information will be given, so I'm afraid the article will be really LONG. “You are not prepared” said Illidan Stormrage and he's not wrong *le boug*.

To begin the article, here is a small image of the Kingdom of Qukria from the viewpoint of its South Tower:

Let's get started!

As we're as uneducated as a poor child in Qukria, I can see myself starting with this part. Step by step, we're going to translate each of the lessons (those with a link with history and see what we come up with.

We have the reference of an “Edge Day”, which, if we refer to what we know about the story in Elnea Kingdom, can only refer to Carnet Day/Ethj Day. We also finally have a name for the period following this disaster: Era of the Great Collapse.

AH! Cool information from the second part of the dialogue: Star Festival, known in English as Astral Day, is also celebrated in Qukria. What happens during this festival is therefore a meteorological event taking place in the world of World Neverland and not just in Elnea Kingdom. This is consistent with the fact that it's an eclipse (the goddess Ena hides the god Sol etc.).
Their sacred beast 'Megia' (as in Elnea Kingdom with Phomos?), appears on this day.

– Day 6: Transporting Forage
– Day 7: Making bread for a bountiful harvest
– Day 8: Preparation for the grand festival
– Day 23: Transportation of fertilizer
– Day 25: Sowing wheat seeds
(Note that this is similar to the farmers' calendar in Elnea Kingdom)

Knights / Warriors

There are three types of Knights:
– the SS,
– the fighter
– the mage

– Temple of Isca to the west, which is on Phraida Falls, in the forest of Fey.
– Inside, there's a Spirit Tree.
– To the north, this is sacred land.
– At the foot of the Hill of Vow mountain, there is a church, a school and a dojo.
– At the centre of the kingdom is the royal castle, and a place that tells the royal story.
– There is a market and fields.
– There are places of culture and entertainment, such as the Gardens of Harl, Theatre, and Fertility Square.
– Across the kingdom, there's the Phraida River
– There are public baths and bars.
– One tourist attraction is the Minari Tower (?)
– The eastern part of the kingdom is full of mystery, with the Karnah Forest filled with Gena miasma.
– There's also the Karnah Tower, in which there's a “room of knowledge” containing important information (to check out when I start playing lol) with a library waiting for us.

Bye-bye! :D

World Neverland lore : Part 3 (ish)

<![CDATA[ (Post from my other blog becaus f Wix – 21 september 2023)
To see the first article of the World Neverland lore series : CLICK HERE
It's best to look at this article on its original site, to get the correct layout.

I can't thank the online translation tools enough, they helped me find a very interesting map.

After posting my second article, I came across twospaceizz's post on Tumblr. In their post, they showed an image of a card coming out of the Fanbook for the Elnea Kingdom game. And at that moment, i WANTED to find it.

Spoiler alert, I did it.

(so #WorldNeverland and for you @worldneverland@a.gup.pe)

!--more--

Technically, I haven't found the fanbook. I have neither the knowledge nor the contacts to be able to find it.

But with a bit of digging, I managed to find these image:

Image of the continents of World Neverland written in the language of the world.

And just because I was so pleased with how I found it, here's a summary of my research:

I first tried a google search via the image. I came across THIS WEBSITE, in Japanese, with a map created by this person.

That didn't help much, except that when I searched the blog, I came across the way they call "Worldneverland" in Japanese.

Armed with this knowledge, I started googling alternatives to the phrase "Worldneverland map". I found lots of cards from the different opuses, different ways of drawing etc... And then I found the Holy Grail.

This website.

And this is how I found the map :D

And what's even cooler is that the person, in their blog, had already done some of the translation work. (the comments were also a great help).

I also found another image while going into a rabbit hole with japanese writing. Translated with google translation, it show this :

Image of the continents of World Neverland with written translations from Japanese, in Latin alphabet.

Don't know if it's legit, but if it is, it is really cool to finally know where Hamoa Island is.

THE TRANSLATION

Anyway, after such a long introduction, here's the translated map:

Image of the continents of World Neverland with my written translations of the different countries.

I'd like to make it clear that some of the translations MAY NOT BE TRUE! As always, I try to translate as best I can but I am dependent on translation tools because I have NO KNOWLEDGE of Japanese.

As I know that my handwriting may not be too legible, here are the typed names below:

Continent (the purple names) :
Midland Cont(inent)
Southernland
Nak Pen(insula)
Dasarios Isl(and)
an untranslatable island below the Dasarios Island
Topall Archipelago
Baiga Isl(and)
Keldonia Isl(and)
Rokus ( maybe) Isl(and)
Shiera Isl(and)
an untranslatable island below the Shiera Island ( Maybe Actica Island ? Seams to habe the same number of letters ?)
Kingdom :
Gavamekia (Federation)
Guava State/Kingdom
Divi (maybe) State/Kingdom
Soh State/Kingdom
South Devon
Devon
Pluto (Wakt Republic of Pluto)
Wa Kingdom
Cornea(maybe) Kingdom
Olerud Kingdom
Rogoel (maybe) kingdom
Reinsaal (maybe) Kingdom
Hamoa Island
Akade Kingdom
Topall Kingdom
Oviger (maybe) Kingdom
Oderidekt (maybe) Kingdom
Deldonia (maybe) Kingdom
Nalulu Kingdom
Ravl (maybe) Kingdom
Body of Water :
Akade Sea
Bauma Sea
Devonean Sea

BUTTT

That's not all I found!

In fact, I learned about the first(second?) online (I think) ( like a mmo) World Neverland game, "World Neverland Zehn Continent Stories", which was a bit like an mmorpg where, instead of pnjs, everyone played in it.

Unfortunately, as I don't speak Japanese, I don't really know how to target my research; I didn't manage to find much on it. I do know, however, that the servers closed in 2010 (or thereabouts).

But if you type "ゼーン大陸" into YouTube, you can find videos showing what the game looked like. On Reddit, another person is talking about Zehn Continent Stories.

There is also, it seems, the games "The Union of Birth Stories", "Cornea Kingdom" et "Stories of the land of Asitsugahara". (I saw in one of the japanese blog that Asitsugahara may be a prequel to Zehn ? Maybe ?Or is it just because those 2 games are mmo ? Idk)

SO ?

From the map, many countries are unknown to us, and we still don't know where the Wym tribe and the Zehn continent are.

Perhaps the unknown island below the Nak peninsula is the Zehn continent?

One thing's for sure, though, and that's that the Nut/Nuit Region is indeed Nuit as in 'night' in French (let me dream ahah it's probably just a coincidence). And it's not a Region but a Peninsula. So my connection between Devon and Nuit was well-founded, because the Kingdom of Devon is on the Nuit Peninsula.

The question is, where is Elnea Kingdom? I'd imagined that the kingdom was in South Devon, but I imagine it's elsewhere on this continent. Between Guava and Soh perhaps? (Or not because I remember a traveler say that Soh and Gavamekia were far west from Elnea... I don't know...)

There's also the kingdom of Kukulia... It's said to be in the south-east, so maybe on the island next to the mainland of Southernland? Somewhere in Southernland ?

Naruelu and Jarram are also relative unknowns. Where are they? Perhaps I've translated it wrong? (probably)

I think I had the image too much in front of my eyes, I won't be able to do any better. If anyone can translate it better, don't hesitate!

If you ever find any information on the unknown opuses, likewise, let us know!

div class="signature"
  p class="signature-text"Plumereine/p
  p class="signature-hobbies"Where I do some writing, Conlang, Knitting, and other hobbies ˙˚ʚ(´◡`)ɞ˚˙/ppa class="signature-link" href="https://linksta.cc/@plumeplume" target="blank"(My Linkstack)/a/ppa class="signature-link" href="https://plumereine.neocities.org/" target="blank"(My Website)/a/ppa class="signature-link" href="https://paper.wf/plumereine/table-of-contents" target="blank"(Table of Contents)/a/ppa class="signature-link" href="https://miaouwouafmiaou.be/profile/plumereine/profile" target="_blank"(To comment this article or interact with me :D aka @plumereine@miaouwouafmiaou.be )/a /p
/div]]>

World Neverland lore : Part 2

<![CDATA[ (Post from my other blog becaus f Wix – 12 july 2023)
To see the first article : CLICK HERE
It's best to look at this article on its original site, to get the correct layout.

World Neverland and the lands that inhabit it. (so #WorldNeverland and for you @worldneverland@a.gup.pe)

By now you've realised, as I have, that Elnea Kingdom lives in a world with neighbouring countries, and that the latest instalments are part of the same universe. Whether it's Nalulu, Hamoa, Olerud, Plato or Elnea, all these countries have their place in a world that is as yet unknown.

Or is he really unknown?

!--more--

In fact, while watching the trailers, I noticed that a world map had been given to us during the Nalulu trailer. It's not the best quality, but the idea is there.

So I've decided to gather together all the information I can find about the different places in World Neverland. In other words, this is no new information, strictly speaking, but a collection of everything I can find about the game Elnea Kingdom, with its outfits in the Tailor Shop(android)/nintendo shop(switch)/ others.

So there's a BIG article in here, with lots of items named, so you can find them and check the information I give.

To this end, the wiki (although not entirely up to date in some respects) has been a great help, so a BIG THANK YOU to those who look after this mine of information.

Of course, I'm also using the map I found in the Nalulu Kingdom trailer. Some countries have their location on it, so I've placed a letter. This letter is put in the title of the countries in question.

I hope you enjoy reading this interesting collection of information.

Map from the trailer of Nalulu with countries mmarked with letters.

F. Nak Peninsula

It was featured in the Nalulu Kingdom trailer. When you 'translate' the letters with the Latin alphabet, you just get the name NACPEN as in "Nac Pen(insula)". The name change in the english localisation to become Nak Peninsula.

Nak has a southern border where the clothes from the DLC are often worn during a specific season :

Summer : casual clothes
"Pioneer Summer Outfit set: Citrus",
"Pioneer Summer Outfit set: Berry",
"Pioneer Summer Outfit set",
Autumn : casual clothes
"Pioneer Autumn Outfit Set(blue)",
"Pioneer Autumn Outfit Set(Silver)",
Spring : casual clothes
"Pioneer Spring Outfit Set(Pink)"
White Flower Bonnet : a woman's hat worn in farming communities
"Pioneer Spring Outfit Set(Green)"
Goddess Flower Crown : made from spring flower

Lugdell is at the southern tip of the Nak Peninsula. Lugdell's traditional clothes are similar to those in the

"Spring Outfit Set" DLC.
Lugdell Clothes: Brown
Lugdell Clothes: Mustard
Spring Lugdell Kid's Wear: Y.

A much more common casual outfit on the Nak Peninsula is the one seen in the

"Town-Wear Set(Common)",
"Town-Wear Set(Sunny)" ,
"Town-Wear Set(Royal)" DLC.

E. Olerud Kingdom

It also appears on the map, but is translated as "OLERUD KINGOM", so it shows that mistakes may have been made on the map. A neighbouring country to the Nak Peninsula, Olerud Kingdom has the Gulf of Akade Sea to its north and the Akade Sea to its south (as shown on its ingame map). With this information, we can find out more or less where the Akade Sea is...

It is said that a dragon wreaked havoc in the Kingdom and the Nation of Devon helped them reconstruct the kingdom.

Their clothes :

Based on the clan of martial art
Unranked Olerud Sorcerer
Unranked Olerud Fighter
Unranked Olerud Fencer
The children
Olerud Child’s Clothing

I'll talk more about Olerude Kingdom in another article once I've translated what I find in the game.

A. Wa Kingdom

Wa Kingdom is on the edge of the Bauma Sea, above the Olerude Kingdom and next to the Wactic Republic of Plato. Looking at the DLC (for switch) outfits and food from Wa, we know it's a country based on Japan. Like the

DLC CLothes
"Yukata" DLC, with typical summer outfits,
"Wa -Japan- Fair" festival clothes.
"New Year's Set" DLC is another festive outfit .
Wa's armour is featured in the "Orient Mail" DLC.
The White Inari Mask : based on a sacred beast
Traditional clothes
Green Kimono
Simple Kimono
Inspired by their clothes
Light Yellow Yukata
Their children wear
Pale Yellow Jinbei
Junior Kimono: Bright Yellow
For ceremony : Yellow Suikan and Sky blue Suikan

In Wa culture, to celebrate children growing up, they prepare either a Wa Oak Leaf Rice Cake or a Wa Bamboo Leaf Rice Cake. Another typical Wa dish is Techiri Stew, Makaboka and Yakatoro. At the start of each year, the Red & White Makaboka dish is prepared to celebrate the occasion. They also have a Wa New Year Box. Original Wa Sakura Rice Cake is a Wa dessert. The two volumes of "Dish of Wa Kingdom" is said to have all the dishes written down.

They believe that Red & White Crustacean brings good luck. They drink Green Tea

B. Topall Archipalego

Almost nothing is known about it, but this archipelago lies on the border between the Devonian Sea and the Bauma Sea.

Which is a bit tricky, given that the location of the Topall archipelago is certain, so the location of the Bauma Sea is certain, but the location of the Akade Sea is also certain because we know the location of Orelude Kingdom. So what's the result? The two seas are virtually at the same location.... So, until I understand or until the north in Olerude Kingdom is actually the south in the world of World Neverland, that part remains a mystery to me.

Baiga Island

Baiga island named Baigar in the Nalulu Kingdom trailer. ( it is the island between the Topall Archipalego and Keldonia)

A Baiga dish is Chilled Cucur. Another dish is the Baiga Helemodarm. Winters are harsh in Baiga, to the point where it is said that words spoken in winter freeze. To celebrate the arrival of spring, the Baiga Helemodarm is cooked.

Gavamekia Federation

In the west of the continent, the Gavamekia Federation is made up of several military clans. Gavamekia has 1,000 soldiers, the largest army in the world. Gavamekia is, however, a nation with closed borders.

One interesting fact is that the Gavamekians love Ramsala to the point of attacking the south for it, only to be repelled by the Wym each time.

Gavamekia has a Magic Academy, and the outfits in the DLC

"Academy Mage Wear Set: Lavender"
"Academy Mage Wear Set: Sakura" are inspired by the uniform.

During the Imperial period (Golden Empire/Empire Carnet), an outfit from a faraway land was popular in Gavamekia:

"Red Huashan-style Formal Set",
"Indigo Huashan-style Formal Set".

So this is a formal outfit from another, as yet unknown, country.

One Gavamekia dish is Sauteed Veras. Another Gavamekian dish is Fried Poto and Peppi

Nation of Devon

Devon lies to the north of the continent where Elnea Kingdom is located. It is the land of stone, with the devonic methode to create Myud Stones, and some of the stones used to build the buildings in Elnea Kingdom come from Devon.

After a dragon wreaked havoc on Olerud, Devon sent stones to help rebuild.

Because of the similarity with the Devon Sea, it may be ossible that these two are connected.

Devon is a country where the inhabitants seem to have tea parties, as the DLC "Tea-party(Galphin)" has outfits inspired by tea parties.

The fishermen of North Devon wear warm clothes, showing that the temperature in this region is very low, which we find in the DLC

"Black Fishing Coats Set",
"Brown Fishing Coats Set",
"Navy Fishing Coats Set".

Devon also has magicians, who wear special outfits as shown in the DLC

"White Wizard Coats Set",
"Halloween Costume Set",
Brown Wizard Coat,
Brown Kid's Wizard Coat.

Everyday Devon wear is represented in the

"Charcoal Devon Coat Set"
"Navy Devon Coat Set" DLC.
Devon Coat
Children
Red Child's Coat
White Child's Coat

Devon's winter solstice outfit is shown in the

"Noel Set" DLC.

Summer traditionnal clothes are :

Devon Summer Wear: Blue

Surprisingly, this set resembles the outfits found in the Nuit region. So either the two are the same region, or they're very similar (both are possible).

Panay Soupe is a traditional Devon soup. Another typical Devon dish is fish,Pierogi and chips or Panay Roll. Cake House is a Devonian dessert. Pomalo jelly and devonian tea is really popular.

Winter Feast is a tabletop that display Devonian dishes.

(Devon inspired by Great Britain Or Russia?)

C. Keldonia

Keldonia is the largest island in the Reston Archipelago. Because of this, an traditional clothes from Eastern Reston Archipelago may be worn here ( because Keldonia is at the east of Reston Archipelago?) :

Rookes Clothing
Sherall Clothing

Nuit Region

The Nuit region seems to have traditional clothes that resemble our stereotypical Christmas clothes, as the

"Polar Travel outfit (Noel)" DLC

seems to show.

The Nuit region may also be the region referred to in the

"Blue Northern Fur Coat" DLC,

but we can't be sure. But etherway, there is a "Winter Messenger" which can be a interesting position in those region ?

We also have a sweater typical of this region with the

DLC
"Moss Green Sweater Set"
"Dark Rose Sweater Set".
Clothes
Gray Sweater

Hamoa Island

Originating in Opus Waneba Island, the tropical Hamoa Islands are located in the Akade Sea and comprise 6 islands: "Baja, Nei, Makaka, Noosa, Tabi and Chachi".

The outfits on these islands are very colourful and stylized with flowers, as shown in the

"Sunflower Cloths Pack Set" DLC.

Traditional farmer dress is featured in the

"Island Pastel Set",
"Island Citrus Set",
"Island Breeze Set",
"Island Berry Set",
"Island Flower Set" DLC.

During the sumer, they wear

Hamoan Outfit: Pink,
Hamoan Outfit: Blue,
Hamoan Outfit: Orange.

The children wear

Hamoan Kid's Outfit: Pink, Hamoan Kid's Outfit: Blue, Hamoan Kid's Outfit: Orange

These islands have fruits such as the Manana.

The Kelumulu of Hamoa is a dish recently introduced on the marvhé, and is very popular in Gavamekia.

Elnea Kingdom

The Elnea Kingdom was the former location of the capital of the Carnet empire (as the Emperor's Bridge is located there and linked the Emperor's palace).

The traditional dress of this region is represented by the

"Traditional Green Outfit",
"Black Ancestral Garb Set",
"Jade Ancestral Garb Set" DLC.

D. Nalulu Kingdom

The

"Set of Nalulu Kingdom outfit" DLC

is, as its name suggests, outfits from the Nalulu Kingdom. The interesting thing is that this set is defined as the outfits worn east of the Reston archipelago. So the Kingdom of Nalulu is located in an archipelago with other possible inhabited islands.

Kukulia Kingdom

The Qukria Kingdom is called "Kukulia" in Japanese and this name is used in the outfits. It is placed in the southeastern.

The clothes worn in Kukulia is :

"Kukulia Clothes"
Kukulia Kid’s Clothing

outfit comes from Kukulia (I know, shocking).

H. Republic of Pluto (in the Wakt /Wactic Region)

Kingdom from the Wactic Republic of Pluto, in the now localised Wakt Region. It is near the Wa Kingdom.

They believe in a lot of gods.

Their clothes are :

Wakt Region Clothing - Mida ( god of magic)
Wakt Region Clothing - Jimma ( god of combat)
Wakt Region Clothing - Kork (god of sword)

The children wear :

Wakt Child's Clothing

Naruelu

Naruelu used to be a health resort, a bit like the Rukos island.

Naruelu is famous for its wine, among other things, as seen in the DLC "Naruelu Wine and Recipies", so Naruelu Wine is a very popular wine.

Children wear

Naruelu Kid's Wear: Blue, Naruelu Kid's Wear: Green, Naruelu Kid's Wear: Orange

G. Rokus Island

It was a health resort during the Imperial period, and a great nation lived there. Now it's just a cursed island.

Desarios Islands

We know that these islands are trapical from the description of the local fruit, the Pakamaka.

Jarram

The local fruit is Gaien.

Soh Kingdom

Not a lot is known, but the local food is Kun Pao Fish.

Wym tribe

May be from the Southern Region, because the jewelry and the perfum from there ressemble things from the Southern Region.

Southerne/Southwest Region

There isn't really a name given, possible Wym tribe because it's supposed to be in the south, but the outfits are well known:

Noble
DLC "southern Attire Set"
Normal clothes
Southern Plain Attire: Silver
Southern Plain Attire: Yellow
Southern Outfit: Green
Southern Outfit: Yellow
Southern Outfit: Pink
Children
Southern Kid's Attire: Yellow, Southern Kid's Attire: Silver
"Citrus Summer Dress Set" inspired by southern sea and flower
Maybe there is a coral reef with "Emerald Summer Dress Set"

The local food may be Ajillo and Gaien Pizza. With the Gaien, it may be deduce that Jarram is the southerne region. The food Tropical Tart could show that Jarram/southerne region is a tropical region, as the fruits are the same. Ihm Tea is ordored from the south.

------------------------------------------

So yeah, that's more or less most of the information I've been able to find on the different countries. It's amazing how, when you put all the information together, you can more or less imagine the world of World Neverland.

Now all I have to do is translate the old games to get more information.

Incidentally, as a small aside, I've just seen THAT THERE ARE UNFOUNDABLE CLOTHES ON THE SWITCH VERSION? I'm disgusted and sad at the same time... Althi, I hope you'll add them...

In short, I spent 2/3 days on it and now I need to take a break...

See you then!

div class="signature"
  p class="signature-text"Plumereine/p
  p class="signature-hobbies"Where I do some writing, Conlang, Knitting, and other hobbies ˙˚ʚ(´◡`)ɞ˚˙/ppa class="signature-link" href="https://linksta.cc/@plumeplume" target="blank"(My Linkstack)/a/ppa class="signature-link" href="https://plumereine.neocities.org/" target="blank"(My Website)/a/ppa class="signature-link" href="https://paper.wf/plumereine/table-of-contents" target="blank"(Table of Contents)/a/ppa class="signature-link" href="https://miaouwouafmiaou.be/profile/plumereine/profile" target="_blank"(To comment this article or interact with me :D aka @plumereine@miaouwouafmiaou.be )/a /p
/div]]>

World Neverland and the lands that inhabit it. (so #WorldNeverland and for you @worldneverland@a.gup.pe)

By now you've realised, as I have, that Elnea Kingdom lives in a world with neighbouring countries, and that the latest instalments are part of the same universe. Whether it's Nalulu, Hamoa, Olerud, Plato or Elnea, all these countries have their place in a world that is as yet unknown.

Or is he really unknown?

F. Nak Peninsula

It was featured in the Nalulu Kingdom trailer. When you 'translate' the letters with the Latin alphabet, you just get the name NACPEN as in “Nac Pen(insula)”. The name change in the english localisation to become Nak Peninsula.

Nak has a southern border where the clothes from the DLC are often worn during a specific season :

Summer : casual clothes

“Pioneer Summer Outfit set: Citrus”,

“Pioneer Summer Outfit set: Berry”,

“Pioneer Summer Outfit set”,

Autumn : casual clothes

“Pioneer Autumn Outfit Set(blue)”,

“Pioneer Autumn Outfit Set(Silver)”,

Spring : casual clothes

“Pioneer Spring Outfit Set(Pink)”

White Flower Bonnet : a woman's hat worn in farming communities

*“Pioneer Spring Outfit Set(Green)” *

Goddess Flower Crown : made from spring flower

Lugdell is at the southern tip of the Nak Peninsula. Lugdell's traditional clothes are similar to those in the

“Spring Outfit Set” DLC.

Lugdell Clothes: Brown

Lugdell Clothes: Mustard

Spring Lugdell Kid's Wear: Y.

A much more common casual outfit on the Nak Peninsula is the one seen in the

“Town-Wear Set(Common)”,

“Town-Wear Set(Sunny)” ,

“Town-Wear Set(Royal)” DLC.

E. Olerud Kingdom

It also appears on the map, but is translated as “OLERUD KINGOM”, so it shows that mistakes may have been made on the map.

Like the

“New Year's Set” DLC is another festive outfit .

Wa's armour is featured in the “Orient Mail” DLC.

The two volumes of “Dish of Wa Kingdom” is said to have all the dishes written down.

They believe that Red & White Crustacean brings good luck. They drink Green Tea

**“Kukulia Clothes” **

Kukulia Kid’s Clothing

outfit comes from Kukulia (I know, shocking).

H. Republic of Pluto (in the Wakt /Wactic Region)

Kingdom from the Wactic Republic of Pluto, in the now localised Wakt Region. It is near the Wa Kingdom.

They believe in a lot of gods.

Their clothes are :

Wakt Region Clothing – Mida ( god of magic)

Wakt Region Clothing – Jimma ( god of combat)

Wakt Region Clothing – Kork (god of sword)

The children wear :

Wakt Child's Clothing

Naruelu

Naruelu used to be a health resort, a bit like the Rukos island.

Naruelu is famous for its wine, among other things, as seen in the DLC “Naruelu Wine and Recipies”, so Naruelu Wine is a very popular wine.

Noble

*DLC “southern Attire Set” *

Normal clothes

**Southern Plain Attire: Silver **

Southern Plain Attire: Yellow

Southern Outfit: Green

Southern Outfit: Yellow

Southern Outfit: Pink

Children

Southern Kid's Attire: Yellow, Southern Kid's Attire: Silver

“Citrus Summer Dress Set” inspired by southern sea and flower

Maybe there is a coral reef with “Emerald Summer Dress Set”

The local food may be Ajillo and Gaien Pizza. With the Gaien, it may be deduce that Jarram is the southerne region. The food Tropical Tart could show that Jarram/southerne region is a tropical region, as the fruits are the same. Ihm Tea is ordored from the south.

World Neverland Lore

<![CDATA[ (Post from my other blog becaus f Wix - 6 july 2023)
It's best to look at this article on its original site, to get the correct layout.

I'm very interested in the worldbuilding of the World Neverland games (so #WorldNeverland and for you @worldneverland@a.gup.pe). Of course, it would have been so much easier if all the games were available in a language I could understand. Unfortunately, only the latest instalment, Elnea Kingdom, is in English. The others have never been translated and are only available in Japanese.

So, in order to satisfy my thirst for knowledge about the games' universe, I set myself the difficult (cough) task of translating the various pieces of lore from these other games.

So, armed with the Internet Archive, kanji.sljfaq.org and Deepl, here we go!

!--more--
----------------------------------------------------------

🎕 So... What to do ?

On this first part of the research that I'm sharing (because otherwise it's no fun, of course), I concentrated on translating the parts of the text, available on the biginning of the trailers available on youtube, into English.

DISCLAIMER : Of course, I'm not fluent in Japanese and English is not my mother tongue, so some of the information I'm assuming may not be correct.

🎕 The Orelud Kingdom

If you want to see the video, you can click here

| Japanese | English (thanks to Deepl) |
| --- | --- |
| 夜明けを告げる鐘の音とともに、船を出そう | With the sound of the bell that heralds the dawn, let's set sail. |
| 開こえる声は遠くなっても、いつでも歌える忘れることのないあの縁の響きで | The voice that opens may be far away, but we can always sing with the echoes of that unforgettable bond. |
| にの地は我らの家である | The land of the second is our home. |
| 光よ 霧を払い全てを照らせ | O light, dispel the mists and illuminate all things! |
| 生ける者の光に包まれたこの地に | In this land surrounded by the light of the living |
| 川を空を緑を、我らの種を植えていこう | Let rivers, skies, and greenery be planted with our seeds |
| 種は芽吹き、ここから満ちていく | The seed sprouts and fills up from here. |
| 初めの人 バスよbrお前たちがこの地を治めよbr龍と共に、br全ての自然と共に | O Bath (Bas), the first man!brYou shall rule this land.brWith the dragons,brWith all nature |
| 我らはアレフの彼方で夢を見よう | We dream beyond the alephs (beyond Aleph). |
| 人よ、この地と共に生きよbrシズニよ、 常に人と共にあれbr時の砂が落ちてしまうその時まで | O man, live with the land.brO Sithni (Shiznee), always be with man.brTill the sands of time fall away. |

From the way it's written (or at least translated) it looks like a text honouring Bas and Shiznee. So I would refer to WK as HI :S

There are seven islands in Hamoa Islands or six, i don't quiet understand here. But when i will play the ame, i will surely understand better... Oboro(?), and the islands of Baja, Nei, Makaka, Nûsa, Tapi and Chachi. There is, however, the name "Oboro", but I don't know which island it refers to.

There's also the Akade Sea, which confirms all the more that this opus is set in the Hamoa Islands.

There's also a reference to animals, but it's not very clear.

Here too, there is no reference to any religion, so no Shiznee or anything else.

🎕 The Nalulu Kingdom

To see the video, copy paste HERE.

| Japanese | English (thanks to Deepl) |
| --- | --- |
| 遺跡と花と海の国、ナルル王国にようこそ! | Welcome to the Kingdom of Naruru, land of ruins, flowers, and sea! |
| ここが1はパウマ海北回り新路の船で早ければ約2日。 | Here, 1 is about 2 days as early as possible by boat on the Pauma Sea (Bauma Sea) northbound new route. |
| プルト井和国、ワ国、トパール王国、バイガー国、クルド二ア王国の沿声を経由してメルル王国に至リます。 | Pluto-Iwa (Waktic Republic of Pluto), Wa (?), Topal (Topāru ōkoku), Baigar, and Kurdonia via the voices along the Kurdonian Kingdom to the Kingdom of Merle. |
| 訓練大会 | Drill competition |
| 立身出世 | Success in life |
| とても苦しい戦にいくじけそうになっ大時、青い龍がやってきて巨人の王子を助けまし。 | When he was about to fall in a very hard battle, a blue dragon came and saved the giant (nolem?) prince. |
| 龍と巨人と入はカを合わせて戦い、ついに記魔物大方を退治しまレ方。 | Dragons, giants, and Iri fought together and finally conquered the Ki Monsters. |
| この後、巨人の王子は王様になり、龍の名前をつけた王国を作リました。 | After this, the giant prince became king and created a kingdom named after the dragon. |
| 巨人も人間も、二度と魔物が現れないよう、仲良く平和に暮らすようにないました。 | Both giants and humans are now to live in harmony and peace, so that demons will never appear again. |
| 当船はまもなくロークス島に着岸します。 | The vessel will soon arrive at Rorke's Island. |

In this trailer, just as we're naming the countries in the other games, we see a map of the world. Now that's cool ahah

We have the first appearance of a giant, or Nolems, in EK. There's even one named. The fact that they live on an island separate from the rest corresponds to the end of the legend of Shiznee in EK, where Nolems and humans become indistinguishable.

The great Ki Monster may be the Angelos in Elnea Kingdom...

However, the different countries are hard to define. Perhaps translating the map in the trailer would help define them better. Or refer to the different DLC/event (depending on the medium). But that's a topic for another post.

🎕 The Qukria Kingdom

To see the video, click HERE.

There's no interesting additional information in the trailer...

🎕 The Elnea Kingdom

Same as Qukria Kingdom, no texte and the trailer is in english...

🎕 Conclusion?

This is only the first part of my lore research, but even with only a machine translation of the trailers I've been able to get a better idea of the world of World Neverland.

However, there are still a lot of grey areas and interesting elements to analyse. I'm also going to put together all the information I've found in my files today.

Maybe next time I'll take a look at the map and the world of World Neverland.

Byebye!

div class="signature"
  p class="signature-text"Plumereine/p
  p class="signature-hobbies"Where I do some writing, Conlang, Knitting, and other hobbies ˙˚ʚ(´◡`)ɞ˚˙/ppa class="signature-link" href="https://linksta.cc/@plumeplume" target="blank"(My Linkstack)/a/ppa class="signature-link" href="https://plumereine.neocities.org/" target="blank"(My Website)/a/ppa class="signature-link" href="https://paper.wf/plumereine/table-of-contents" target="blank"(Table of Contents)/a/ppa class="signature-link" href="https://miaouwouafmiaou.be/profile/plumereine/profile" target="_blank"(To comment this article or interact with me :D aka @plumereine@miaouwouafmiaou.be )/a /p
/div]]>

There's no interesting additional information in the trailer...
