2021/5/19 #poetry Rather than go out and buy something new, I use what I've got, I try to make do. Most of the time I've got all that I need. Most of the time I've got way more, indeed. Almost all of the time I could do, with a bit less, letting go of a few. I can pare down. I can and I will. I promise myself to go in for the kill. Get rid of a couch, eschew a new toy, I'll take what I have and I'll learn to enjoy. I've got the big skill way down to the letter, keep new things away, don't spend and regretter. I must become better at throwing away. Some things I can't give, and they tend to stay. One day where I live will be clutter free. The feeling of space will bring joy to me.
