Now, sitting in the room with the golden light filtering in, noticing the comfort that the furniture furnishes, allowing the drowsiness to resonate through my body, moving gently and pleasantly slowly.
Later, to sleep on a soft bed in a warm room, if awakened to be able to slip back easily in the still quiet, feeling well fed and safe.
Another day, moving out into the world from this place where ease and comfort allows my recovery from all the activity and affront of life, enjoying the encounters with new and interesting things and situations with a fresh and relaxed mind and body, free to spend my attention where I will.
The unpleasant seems so far from here.

Out among the berried bushes
Deep in the brush
Far enough from the stream
Where people don't go
Birds find this place
Live without our noise
Experience their world
In their way
Without us watching
Or contemplating
Their actions
Hours can pass
With this same lack of oversight
When in solitude
On one's own
One involves in the acts
That a body must
Some tramping
Or grooming
Eating
And eliminating
Watching the trees
Searching for wild food
Nothing needs deeper contemplation
In these moments
Free of strategizing
Scant of struggle
A person
Or a bird
Moves forward
Heartbeat by heartbeat

Not the easy way. That would be to have it done for you. Let another choose or be in a situation with requirements or somehow otherwise have only one option. The hard way is shopping. Make a decision yourself.
The easy way is to get the first thing that fits, works for your needs, has a decent price. The hard way is to continue shopping. Find the best option. Find the best deal. Pick a cool color.
The easy way is to commit. Once you've decided, to pull the trigger. Make the purchase and live with it. The hard way is to wait. To deliberate after looking at options and finding a favorite. To sleep on it.
Oh, it's so nice to be able to take the easy way.

Out in the quiet forest
I came here with my notebook
To escape the noise
The noise of people
It is not that quiet here
But the sounds are soothing
They don't distract
They calm
They cater to creativity
It is easier to let things out
When you are not blocking things out

Is everything a mirror,
In the sense that it changes,
Affects and connects,
And all in return,
Everything else?
This is how you realize
That the foundation of knowledge is shaky
When you are forced to ask
“What is a thing?”
Is behavior?
Thought?
Potential?
Emotion?
Strategy?
Expected outcome?
Opportunity?
Light?
Energy?
Understanding?
Symbolic representation?
A thing?
Reflect on that.

This day the Sun rose up
I wake out a heavy sleep
Only 15 hours left in it
Then I go to sleep again
A few hours not too long
Make what I will of them

One day you'll see. The world is fine, the world is free.
What makes writing on the bottom line of the screen so uncomfortable?
Honestly, there should be a law against hunching over.
Six lines of six words each
Try to make them sound nice
Do your best to create cool
Explore how a new way works
Fit it all together just so
Make sure it can make sense

Off we go, off into the way away
I get tired so quick these nights
like a... a... a..., well I'd tell you if I wasn't so tired.
Tired like an 18 wheeler
Ha! But that makes no sense
Just a pun, not a good one with double meaning
A bad one that makes no sense at all in context but uses the word in a noncontextual fashion
What do dreams and 4 year olds have in common. They say junk that only makes sense to them.
Linguistic rules have no hold on dreams or 4 year olds.
Or bad puns
This poem could do with a little less rules
It would be easier to follow inconsistent dreamed rules when tired like this
Just a little tireder
Why does getting ready for bed wake me back up?
Such a disappointment,
to feel pulled toward that luscious limit of wakefulness
then to say, I'll give in
Just a moment for a couple tasks in the bathroom
To then find that pull has evaporated after these tasks.
Such a tease.
Well, I always try again.
I give in.

Argleblargle! As you may have heard it is the sound of frustration to the point of loss of speech capacity. Obviously it's not the only anguished cry people will make in that condition but it is interesting because it is more complex than most of the other utterances. Almost a word itself.
It's catchy, so much so that I find myself thinking of it, in word-like form, when I want to use the concept of such extreme frustration to illustrate a point. Also so much so that it is used often enough in that situation to be recognizable. Not so catchy that it has become a word in common use or defined in a dictionary.
It would be best not to use it as a word. It could trigger memories of a not too pleasant state, pulling you in toward such experiences.

Let's find out! It won't be hard. Just climb the fence into the neighbors yard.
Fantastic things we've heard are there, the kind of things that raise your hair.
Just don't cry out or they will know, their dog will soon be at your toe.
If we find treasure, leave it be. I will not condone thievery.
Should there be traps just stay close by. I've got a really astute eye.
If you spot candy it's probably fine, but any lemon drops you see are mine.
When we return we'll know for sure; but we'll spread more rumors, build allure.
